Job Description

The SVG Finance team is growing and we want you to be a part of it! We are currently hiring for a Financial Analyst to be a key part of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. If you are passionate, driven, and looking to grow you career in corporate finance this is the role for you. This would be a hybrid/onsite position in our Kansas City office. 

Key responsibilities will include data analysis, financial forecasting, and financial reporting, with a focus on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that drive SVG’s financial outlook. Additionally, you’ll work with the variable compensation team; assisting in monthly variable compensation calculations and payout. You will also be able and willing to assist in other ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests directed to the FP&A team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related degree program OR relevant work or military experience
• 1-2 years’ experience in FP&A or Business Intelligence/Analytics, with exposure to manipulation of large data sets, academic experience included.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required, with proficiency desired
• Exposure to relational databases required, SQL preferred
• Understanding of business problem solving
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
