ABOUT US:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Control Analyst to join the central FP&A Control team. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager – Control, this role is responsible for supporting month-end close activities, cost and revenue controls, capitalization processes, and governance across key financial cycles.
This position plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data used across FP&A and Accounting. The role focuses on execution, process discipline, and control across revenue, costs, capitalization, and operational finance activities, while working closely with Accounting, Finance Systems, and FP&A teams.
THE CHALLENGE:
Month-End Close, Revenue & Cost Control
- Support month-end close activities across revenue, costs, capitalization, and office expenses in line with agreed timetables and control standards
- Prepare/review invoices, accruals, and system entries related to revenue, personnel costs, other costs, and office expenses
- Manage monthly cycles for office costs and travel expenses, including accruals, reviews, and variance explanations
- Manage the monthly revenue share cycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing
- Support day-to-day operational finance activities, including PO approval, invoice processing, and issue resolution
- Support approval workflows for JREQs in line with defined policies
- Perform variance checks and reasonableness reviews on controlled cost categories, escalating issues where required
Capitalization & Fixed Asset Processes
- Support month-end capitalization activities in partnership with Engineering, Accounting, and Systems teams
- Maintain capitalization one-pager documentation, ensuring clarity of process, controls, and ownership
- Support capitalization reviews using source systems (e.g., JIRA), ensuring compliance with accounting and SOX requirements
- Assist with coordination across Engineering, Finance Systems, and Accounting to ensure accurate capitalization outcomes
- Support capitalization and tracking of employee hardware (e.g., laptops, monitors) in line with policy and control standards
Systems & Processes
- Define, document, and maintain FP&A control processes in collaboration with Accounting and FP&A teams
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen controls through better processes and system usage
Governance, Audit & Transformation
- Support audit requests and governance activities by providing documentation, reconciliations, and process explanations
- Participate in accounting transformation initiatives, supporting process redesign, documentation, and system changes
- Maintain FP&A documentation, SharePoint, intranet sites, and other knowledge management tools to support transparency and governance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and documented processes
Partnering within FP&A
- Collaborate closely with the FP&A Reporting & Planning team to provide accurate month-end data, assist with office cost planning, and ensure timely submission of relevant metrics
- Partner with the FP&A Partnering team to coordinate input, validate submissions, and ensure consistency in controlled financial processes
- Provide guidance and structured templates to FP&A teams to facilitate high-quality data capture for planning and reporting purposes
What This Role Does Not Own
- Business partnering with commercial or functional leadership
- Enterprise-level reporting, forecasting, or planning activities
- Executive-facing financial narratives or performance management
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Under 5 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, or financial control roles
- Solid understanding of month-end close processes, accruals, and financial controls
- Experience working with ERP and finance systems (e.g., MS Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, JIRA, Abacum)
- Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Structured and process-oriented mindset with comfort operating in controlled environments
- Ability to work effectively across Finance, Accounting, Systems, and FP&A teams
- Strong ownership mentality and ability to manage multiple deadlines during close cycles
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English; additional European languages a plus

Additional Information
The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
