ABOUT US:
The Gaming unit's RGS team is looking for an experienced and dedicated Software Engineer (m/f/d) interested in sports and betting. You will join a passionate and talented group of people responsible for delivering state of the art platform which provides Virtual Sports betting solution across all platforms.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Innovate in an Interdisciplinary Environment: Coordinate with graphic designers, product managers, and fellow developers to craft and maintain brand-new features for virtual sports simulations.
- Performance & Cloud Optimization: Partner with Sportradar specialists to fine-tune performance, improve cloud solutions, and ensure our products run seamlessly at all hours.
- Ownership & Autonomy: If you see a process that can be improved, go for it. We support initiative and encourage creative solutions.
- Lifecycle Management: Define, develop, deploy, and monitor solutions with your team—covering everything from the first lines of code to sunsetting older features.
ABOUT YOU:
You like challenges, and you have a positive, can-do attitude. You are responsible and focused at work, and commitments are essential for you. Relationships with your co-worker’s matter. If you don't know, you ask.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical skills:
- proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17 or similar) or experience in C#/C++ with willingness to transition to Java,
- familiarity with TypeScript is a nice-to-have.
- Modern Development Principles: Clean, maintainable coding style; familiar with SOLID principles, TDD, and agile practices.
- DevOps Mindset: Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Team Player with Communication Skills: A good command of English (written and spoken); self-motivated and collaborative.
- Continuous Learner: Committed to refining not just software, but also team processes and your own soft and hard skill set.
