Sportradar is seeking a Technical Success Manager to join the Media group supporting Sportradar’s Broadcast clients and internal stakeholders with their day-to-day needs. Part solution consultant/designer, part relationship manager, and part product expert, this role will be responsible for ensuring that Sportradar clients are able to effectively use and derive value from Sportradar’s broadcast products.
The Technical Success team works closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical consultation, and resolve any issues that may arise while also working closely with internal groups to ensure that all client needs are met, and where appropriate, provide expertise in the sales process to appropriately consult on any additional products could be right for the client.
What You’ll Do:
During the sales process, you may be relied upon by our Sales and Client Success groups to help with product consultancy and pre-sale solutions advocacy.
Post-sale, you’ll assist with the technical aspects of product set-up particularly with any curated integrations that our clients require. Your strong project management skills will be called upon when complex, multi-faceted client launches need both solution design and coordination between multiple stakeholders.
Once clients are integrated, you’ll then be on hand to reactively troubleshoot, resolve, or triage technical challenges when our Support team requires additional resources or asks for help. You’ll also proactively keep an eye on some tech-focused client health metrics to spot potential problems with our clients’ product implementations before they do.
You’ll be able to speak “two languages”, as you will need to act as a liaison between our clients, our support team members, and our product teams. You must be able to communicate in product jargon and non-technical language and be able to translate between the two.
Through your time spent delving into our products, sometimes looking “under the hood” and working closely with our Product team members, you’ll also find yourself becoming a bridge between support and product, pushing knowledge both ways and giving the Client Success team the tools and knowledge, they need to use or troubleshoot our products themselves without running into technical barriers.
As your relationship with clients develops, you’ll be expected to provide consultative recommendations on how they can best utilize their current product offering while also becoming an expert on their business so that you can provide insights on any additional or new Sportradar products that they do not have access to that could help their business grow.
What You’ll Have:
You’ll have some experience and understanding of the broadcast landscape, whether it’s through experience at another SaaS company, within a media property, or through any other relevant roles.
A skillset that values creative and proactive problem solving, is highly organized, has top tier communication skills, and an eye for detail.
You have a good technical knowledge of the media and broadcast industries’ standard practices for using and implementing data feeds, APIs, and graphics.
Your written and communication skills will be first-class, and you’ll have the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple manner.
You have demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
You can partner with other team members to resolve issues and identify patterns for client technical requests.
You’ll excel at managing multiple projects and types of work.
You’re independent, proactive and comfortable working with occasional ambiguity.
An interest in and understanding of sports, especially when it comes to how sports data is used within the broadcast ecosystem.
