Job Description

The Content Administrator facilitates the delivery of online dental education across all Spear product lines and serves as the primary contact to appropriately escalate, resolve, and communicate members’ content inquiries.

Content Coordination (60%)
This role uses a content management system to publish digital content to Spear Online, Spear’s member-based online learning platform. This includes inputting all content elements and setting specific requirements to ensure on-time and accurate setup and staging of content. This role is also responsible for ongoing required content governance, including management, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting functions. 

  • Adheres to established business rules, requirements, quality standards, and timelines 100% of the time when staging new content, updating existing content, or deactivating content from Spear’s online learning platform. 
  • Conducts a final check to ensure all content is error-free and meets Spear’s brand quality 100% of the time before its release to members.
  • Supports content and resource asset creation (e.g., worksheets, reference lists, etc.) needs by adhering to brand standards and general design best practices.
  • Coordinates and schedules various member email communications, resource implementation, and other administrative functions leading to and during live virtual member events.  
  • Supports Patient Education closed captioning responsibilities, including ordering, uploading, and coordinating with the translation team to translate video scripts from English to other languages. 

Content Reporting and Tracking (40%)
This role serves as the primary liaison to appropriately escalate, resolve, and communicate content inquiries such as issues, errors, and new feature releases and assess needs promptly within existing internal procedures.

  • Works with the Product team to keep current with customer feedback and requested content. 
  • Manages Jira ticket updates throughout content projects' pre-release and post-release phases. 
  • Utilizes Tableau for accessing content performance metrics to compile user viewership data and key observations, including assembling charts and graphs to produce monthly reports. 
  • Updates relevant product-specific spreadsheets and workflow Smartsheets to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinates internal email announcements of new releases and updates and maintains an internal Content Team web page.

 

*Candidates must be in Arizona as this is a hybrid role that requires time on site in Scottsdale.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred, but equivalent skills and previous work experience is acceptable
  • Editing, proofreading, or writing experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with unbeatable communication skills
  • Collaborative and comfortable working on a team
  • Unbeatable listening, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Ability to quickly learn internal websites and applications (e.g., NetSuite, Tableau, HubSpot, Jira, Smartsheet, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Camtasia, Amazon AWS, Microsoft 365, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the dental industry a plus, but not required
