Job Description

Summary:
We're looking for a technically-minded Salesforce Administrator to join our growing Revenue Operations
Technology team. You'll handle day-to-day admin tasks such as user management and configuration support, while
contributing to sprint delivery and data quality initiatives. But your real differentiator is technical governance: managing
our source code repository, reviewing developer changes, and acting as the final gatekeeper for production releases.
This role requires understanding Salesforce architecture and development concepts without daily coding. You'll work
cross-functionally in an Agile environment, ensuring technical changes meet our standards before going live.
If you're an ex-developer who prefers orchestrating high-quality releases over writing code all day, this role is for you.

Role Responsibilities

Salesforce Administration & Configuration
• Make minor configuration changes directly, and support larger changes delivered via development teams.
• Manage user access, profiles, and security in accordance with platform governance policies.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to QA and UAT testing, working with developers to triage bugs and validate fixes.
• Support large-scale data updates and imports in collaboration with QA and data quality teams.
• Maintain documentation for configuration changes, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Release Management & Source Control
• Own the Salesforce source code repository, managing branches, pull requests, and version control.
• Review developer-delivered changes to ensure they meet platform standards and follow best practices.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute deployments into production.
• Act as the final technical checkpoint prior to production releases, ensuring testing, documentation, and rollback
considerations are in place.
• Maintain release documentation, deployment logs, and change records.
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Gathering
• Engage business stakeholders to understand processes, gather and refine requirements, and identify pain points.
• Translate business needs into structured requirements suitable for estimation and development.
• Collaborate with developers to validate scope, clarify requirements, and ensure delivery aligns with business intent.
• Provide functional oversight and input into technical solution design discussions.
Platform Support & Cross-System Awareness
• Support the operation of integrated platforms and tools (e.g. Gong, Power BI, etc.) by understanding data flows and
dependencies.
• Assist in troubleshooting data issues across systems and coordinating with relevant platform owners.
• Contribute to testing and validation of end-to-end changes that span multiple systems

Qualifications

Role Requirements

Essential
• Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM201).
• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar functional/technical CRM support role.

• Proven ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Experience working in Agile environments with developers and cross-functional teams.
• Able to assess whether solutions use appropriate declarative or programmatic tools based on business needs and
best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation habits.
• Comfortable being the "gatekeeper" who enforces production standards.

Desirable

  • • Advanced Administrator (ADM211) or Platform App Builder certification.
