What you will do

1. Use your deep functional understanding to contribute to the business design for the product.
2. Contributing to defining the product roadmap and supporting end-to-end delivery of product releases & communication with different stakeholders
3. Build software products for banking and financing institutions with R&D teams that are openly collaborative, are non-hierarchical, respect contributions and work with agility
4. Enable, empower, and encourage teams for continuous improvement of functional and domain understanding
5. Challenging and supporting people and engineering practices to improve the quality of product
6. Supporting governance of product team to ensure quality and efficiency of solutions
7. Act as a mentor to the team and reinforce organizational values and culture

Total Experience Expected: 14-18 years

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelors or higher engineering degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent additional professional experience.
2. Hands-on experience in delivering banking solutions from concept to production with a deep understanding of Core Banking operations, CASA management, interest calculation methods, general ledger operations and clearing and settlement.
3. Well-versed with major customer journeys in the Core banking domain.
4. Has worked as a functional expert/SME for the Core banking system.
5. 10+ years of industry experience in design, development, operations and managing functional perspectives of solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Visualize e2e use case and landscape – define scope, interactions/integrations of different services
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders – Product Management team, assertiveness, arbitrations
3. Exposure to Microservices based architecture, understanding and defining non-functional requirements; experience with new product development based on a distributed architecture
4. Hands-on with Open API Specification, ability to define APIs
5. Agile organization exposure, working with the team in clarifying user needs and prioritizing and planning of scope
6. Good understanding of building Product Roadmaps, Release Plans etc.
