Managing Solaris System Information and OS Logs (Tasks)

Managing Solaris System Processes (Tasks)

Monitoring System Performance (Tasks)

Managing Software Packages (Tasks)

Scheduling System Tasks (Tasks)

 Managing the System Console, Terminal Devices, and Power Services (Tasks)

RHEL Admin.

Mandatory Skills Required

•       Good Communication, Problem Solving and Root Cause analysis skills

•       Hands on experience with Linux (RedHat 7.x, 8.x or Suse 10 & 11)

•       Installation and configuration of OS (RedHat, Suse, Open source Linux).

•       Unix security, Openssl, ssh, scp, ldap, iptables, tcp wrappers, syslog etc

•       Logical Volume management, Storage management (NFS, GFS)

•       Installation and Configuration Nagios (Monitoring System), Squid (proxy Server), DNS, and Ldap. 

•       OS troubleshooting

Desired Skills:

•       Knowledge of Scrips Shell, Ansible, Perl / phyton.

•       Knowledge of any virtual platform (VMware, Cloud)

•       Patching procedures.

•       Familiarity with various hardware architecture (HP, IBM Power Server)

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
