At Baytown Ford, is a Sonic Automotive dealership, We are looking for CERTIFIED FORD TECHNICIANS. We are a busy service department with never a slow period. Baytown Ford offers a $5,000 signing bonus for ford certified technicians and a $10,000 signing bonus for Senior Master Technicians. Earn up to $54.00 per hour based upon your certifications and experience. 

Looking for a heavy line gas engine technician. 

Salary: $25-$54/hr Depending on Experience 

The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.

·       Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.

·       Notify service advisor if additional work outlined is needed or required.

·       Attend factory-sponsored training classes.

·      

Qualifications:

·       High CSI is a must.

·       ASE or manufacturing training.

·       High school diploma or the equivalent.

·       Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

·       All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.

·       All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and a drug test.
