Job Description

Project – the aim you’ll have

You’ll be working on a telecom OSS platform used to manage network inventory, plan infrastructure, and support service delivery across fiber and radio networks. The system is a web-based solution integrated with multiple internal and external services (e.g. maps, geocoding, sales systems). You’ll join a cross-functional team working close to real network operations, where your work has direct impact on planning and decision-making.

Position – how you’ll contribute

  • Gather and refine business and system requirements together with stakeholders
  • Translate real-world network concepts into system logic, data structures, and features
  • Prepare clear documentation (requirements, diagrams, API specs) that developers can actually use
  • Create mockups or simple prototypes to help visualize and validate ideas early
  • Work closely with developers on implementation details and integrations (WS/REST)
  • Support testing and help verify whether the system behaves as expected
  • Analyze incoming issues from the client and decide whether it’s a bug or an improvement
  • Help keep backlog and tasks organized, especially when extra coordination is needed

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

  • Experience working as a System or Business Analyst in IT projects
  • Ability to understand complex systems and break them down into clear requirements
  • Experience with APIs and system integrations
  • Confidence in working with documentation (requirements, diagrams, structured specs)
  • Ability to work closely with both developers and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and ease in discussing ideas, problems, and solutions
  • Experience in managing or refining backlog and writing user stories/tasks
  • Telecom (especially OSS) experience is welcome, but not required if you can quickly get up to speed in a new domain

Additional skills – the edge you have

  • Familiarity with CASE tools, e.g. Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm, Camunda Modeler
  • Experience with mockup tools (e.g. Axure, Figma) and API tools (e.g. SoapUI)
  • Experience with Google Maps-based solutions or similar map visualizations
  • Basic SQL skills (data querying, simple updates, reporting)
