We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Working Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at a manufacturing facility in Bolton. This is a working supervisory role, responsible for coordinating different cleaning teams while actively participating in daily cleaning tasks. The position ensures consistent service delivery and maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all janitorial activities across the facility
• Provide direction to the cleaning teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
• Monitor daily performance and ensure all assigned areas are properly maintained
• Conduct routine inspections and address any deficiencies promptly
• Act as the main point of contact for site management regarding cleaning operations
• Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, including PPE and WHMIS requirements
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties daily alongside the team

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or industrial cleaning
• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment (auto scrubbers, floor machines, etc.)
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations (WHMIS required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks as needed
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Proficient in English, both reading and writing.

Compensation

• $23.00 per hour
