About the Role
Sodexo has a unique opportunity for an experienced Soft Services Manager to join our team in a permanent, full‑time capacity.
This role provides functional leadership and operational support across Village Soft Services, ensuring contract compliance and continuous improvement through the delivery of the Sodexo Best Practice approach. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Accommodation Management
- Housekeeping
- Industrial Cleaning
- Village Cleaning
- Grounds Maintenance
The role is Perth‑based with weekly travel to remote sites. While operating on a Monday to Friday roster, flexibility is required to extend time onsite to meet operational and mobilisation requirements.
This position will particularly suit someone who has “lived the life” on site such as an Administration Supervisor, Cleaning Supervisor/Manager, or Village Manager and is now looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Contract Management
- Ensure consistent delivery of Soft Services across all contracts, promoting best practice and operational excellence
- Review, understand, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations for Soft Services delivery
- Develop, maintain, and deliver a long‑term Soft Services strategy in collaboration with the Sodexo Leadership Team and National Soft Services Team
- Provide operational and technical expertise to business units and operational teams
- Ensure professional and efficient service provision to all stakeholders
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrated growth in responsibility within a similar operational environment
- Strong background in Cleaning Services management
- Experience working with cleaning quality standards and processes
- Operations or remote site experience highly advantageous
Knowledge & Skills
- High level of computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, industry tools)
- Auditing and report‑writing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement capability
- Ability to plan, prioritise, delegate, and adapt in resource‑constrained environments
