Company Description
Sodexo Australia is seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team on an 8:6 roster. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment across a range of client sites, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and minimal operational downtime

About the Role
As a Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you will provide technical support and maintenance services for commercial kitchen appliances and systems. You will work independently and as part of a broader maintenance team to deliver high-quality service outcomes in line with Sodexo’s safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and associated appliances
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and gas-related faults efficiently and safely
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and company procedures
- Deliver high levels of customer service while maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications
- A current WA Electrical Licence
- Gas servicing ticket
- Full WA Driver's Licence
- Australian Citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights
- Experience servicing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment (preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work autonomously and manage service priorities effectively
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- A current National Police Clearance within 6 months.
