Company Description
We are seeking a highly capable UKG Business Support Officer to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate HR reporting, supporting time and attendance compliance, and providing valuable data insights to internal and external stakeholders.
You will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of the UKG Pro Workforce Management system—supporting users, driving continuous improvement, and partnering across Payroll, Workforce Planning, and broader HR teams to optimise processes and ensure compliance.
Job Description
- Deliver training and support to users across all levels on timekeeping procedures (face-to-face, virtual, and via training materials and videos)
- Promote system adoption by engaging with frontline leaders and translating technical concepts into clear, practical advice
- Collaborate with Payroll and Workforce Planning teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of employee hours, including compliance checks across all pay runs
- Run and troubleshoot integrations into and out of the UKG system
- Manage queries, requests, and escalations through the business ticketing system
- Produce reports and provide data analysis to support business decision-making
- Ensure compliance with time and attendance interpretation, relevant legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimisation via governance processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll processes and compliance, including Australian payroll legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements
- At least 12 months’ experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management
- Experience in training delivery, change management, and process improvement
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective relationships
- Experience working in dynamic environments requiring adaptability and resilience
- Solid understanding of rostering, scheduling, and time & attendance principles (FIFO experience highly regarded)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
