If you’re looking to be part of a friendly, close-knit, customer-centric team, we have an opportunity for a Catering Lead to oversee the site retail operations and lead our catering team. We want you to bring your passion for safety and people management to our team!

The ideal candidate will be willing to do FIFO from Sydney FIFO or Canberra DIDO to NSW Snowy Mountains, working on a 14/7 11hour day roster.  There will be flights ex Sydney, accommodation, and meals included whilst on site.

Who are we looking for?  

 As the Catering Lead you will be a skilled communicator with proven people management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.  Key focus:

  • Managing high performing catering teams
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of a retail business, including managing sales, inventory, customer service, marketing, and customer interactions
  • Build and strengthen client relationships while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Lead, development and manage a diverse work force ensuring they understand role and can meet performance objectives
  • Identify areas for improvement and utilise our systems, policies and procedures with a view towards improving the efficiency of village operations
  • Familiar with HACCP compliance and remote site HSE requirements
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence, listen, guide and interact effectively with all stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and cultural competence
  • Strong people management skills and proven ability to build and support team cohesion
  • Excellent computer, compliance and reporting skills
