Sodexo is currently seeking a suitably qualified Cairns based Service Attendant to join our team working full time on our client's site. The Site is at Amrun and this is a full time position. FIFO from Cairns QLD, working a 14 days on, 7 days off roster - 11 hours per shift including dayshift and nightshift.. 

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will have excellent customer service skills and an eye for detail. Your main responsibilities will be kitchen hand and dining room attendant duties including but not limited to - Set up and pack up of cold crib selections, keeping crib selections stocked up during service, regular temperature testing/recording, cleaning of dinning room during and after service, washing dishes, deep cleaning back of house, and other utility tasks as required.

About you
You must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional communication skills. Be well presented at all times. Basic food safety knowledge in a hospitality environment preferred. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work without constant supervision. Current open manual license and prior remote experience will be advantageous but is not compulsory

About Amrun 

Amrun is a remote site that is accessible by ferry from Weipa. Residents and staff at Amrun have access to excellent facilities including a gym, group fitness classes, swimming pool, running track, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts and a recreation room with pool tables, ping pong, darts and arcade games. Plenty to keep you busy after your shift.
