Sodexo is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Utility - Mine Site Cleaner  to join our team working full time on our client's mine site at Poitrel, near Moranbah.

About the Job:

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will have excellent customer service skills and ideally mine site experience. Your job will involve detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of kitchen and toilets. You will conduct all duties using appropriate cleaning methods, following cleaning policies and procedures and be able to complete them with in allocate time frames. You will be required to respond in a timely manner to any adhoc cleaning request that require urgent attention. Time management will be key to this role as you will be allocated specific areas / duties to complete on your allocated shift.
This is a full time position which is local to Moranbah or DIDO surrounding areas working a 5 days on (Mon - Fri), 2 days off roster - 9.5 hrs per day
 

About you:

You will take pride in your work, enjoy working in a cohesive team and thrive under pressure. You must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional communication skills. Be well presented at all times. You have bags of stamina and are fit and healthy, as you will spend the majority of your time on your feet. Your ability to work effectively in a team is very important. This is a hands on role and having a positive can-do attitude is what we are looking for. This position will suit a self-motivated individual who has a flexible mindset and a great team spirit - providing service with a smile!
