DnA, A Division of Socotec, is a Special Inspection firm that provides a wide range of services with a strong focus on material and forensic testing. Our core special Inspections staff includes professionals specializing in all phases of special inspection. We are dedicated to providing top quality Special Inspection and Testing Services. Our experience includes extensive work in large scale projects and occupied in-use buildings and facilities.

This role is specifically within DnA, a division of SOCOTEC. We are currently looking for a Level II Structural Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Field Engineer who can perform NDT using Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing with at least 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Performing structural inspections for various jobs in the NYC Area.
• Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using UT and MT. Equipment provided
• Write and submit reports within 48 hours of inspections.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Bachelors degree in the engineering or 5+ years as a Structural NDT Field Engineer required

• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level II 

• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Tech Level II
• CWI or ICC Structural Welding/Bolting

• Preferred Qualifications
  • Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • College Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
  • ACI or ICC Concrete Special Inspector
  • ICC Spray fireproofing.
  • ICC Masonry
  • OSHA 30
  • Suspended Scaffolding Card
