Job Description

As the Nephrology Senior Clinical Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets by developing and executing tailored Key Account Plans. Your role will involve leading customer engagement, coordinating with cross-functional colleagues, and building strong relationships with Specialists (Nephrologists), Pharmacists, Nurses, office staff, and other healthcare providers involved in patient care

You will take personal responsibility for leading local projects, analyzing territory performance, and sharing valuable insights to inform national strategy. By working closely with the Commercial, Medical, and Patient Access teams, you will leverage your deep customer insights and market knowledge to deliver impactful results. This is a high-visibility, field-based role focused on the Province of Quebec, reporting to the Director of Sales.

The Opportunity:

Sobi is currently seeking a Senior Clinical Account Manager (CAM) for Nephrology in the Province of Quebec. The CAM will report to the Director of Sales and will develop and execute a territory strategy that collaborates cross-functionally to address customer needs and meet sales targets. This role involves building and maintaining strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, providing in-depth clinical knowledge of Sobi’s products, and effectively communicating their benefits.

As Senior Clinical Account Manager, you will be expected to achieve territory sales by executing the Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, delivering branded sales messages, representing Sobi at local, national and international meetings & congresses, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, balancing strategic and operational tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Represent Sobi’s products and services to healthcare professionals, generating and growing sales while consistently achieving or exceeding targets in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.

- Promote the appropriate use of Sobi products to healthcare professionals in line with Corporate and Health Canada policies and in following IMC and BIOTE Canada guidelines.

- Apply effective selling techniques to enhance product understanding and identify appropriate patients.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Sobi and competitor products in the therapeutic area and possess an in-depth knowledge of related disease states.

- Demonstrate a high degree of business acumen and sales analytics

- Understand the unique issues and opportunities specific to the territory.

- Support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) advocacy and develop and execute speaker programs and educational activities as appropriate.

- Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, including Nephrologists, Nurses, Blood Disorder Clinics, and Pharmacists.

- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

-BA/BS in Business or Life Sciences.

-Fluently Bilingual (English, French)

- Proven success in pharmaceutical sales with a strong track record in product launches, preferably in the rare disease space

-Nephrology experience a strong asset

- Experience in Rare Disease or Specialty Care is preferred.

- Demonstrated success working closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)

- A minimum of 5 years of specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.

- At least one year of experience navigating institutional accounts and developing mutually beneficial relationships with healthcare professionals and their staff.

- Strong communication skills

- Must reside within the designated geographic territory (Preferably based in or near Montreal, Quebec City area). Protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where we operate.
