    Key Account Manager Nephrology / Hematology

    Job Description

    This KAM (key-account manager) will help develop the presence of Swedish Orphan Biovitrum BV in Belgium & Luxembourg in the area of rare hematological and nephrological diseases, and act as value-adding partner towards all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

    The KAM drives strategic and tactical country commercial activities in Belgium (south) and Luxembourg in alignment with Global and Local Commercial Plan.

    The KAM will proactively manage stakeholders and create value for hcp’s, other relevant caretakers and patients through scientific stakeholder engagement, commercial projects and communications. The KAM will independently initiate commercial activities, including scientific presentations. Therefore, the KAM will identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs and medical scientific experts.

    The KAM will deliver high quality and scientific communication externally as well as internally in line with defined plans. The KAM will provide field feedback as appropriate through dynamic stakeholder engagement and support the local organization in the development of tactics and provide input to brand plans.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs, scientific experts and other medical scientific stakeholders in nephrology for Aspaveli, and maintain and further

    develop relationships with the hematology target in Belgium (south) and GDL for Doptelet in the indication of ITP and Aspaveli in the indication of PNH.

    · Identify, analyze and share with the team structural insights and trends from: the market, our stakeholders and their roles, the patient flow, competitive intelligence

    · Develop an account plan with own activities (visits, meetings) and, on a regular basis, report these in the Veeva CRM system. Therefore identify and prioritize target customers that our most important to drive business outcomes.

    · Participate in the National & International Congresses (booth participation, customer support, scientific updates, interactions with relevant stakeholders...)

    · Embrace and drive omnichannel touchpoints (webinars, digital content, veeva approved emails, remote meetings, …) as a complement to 1:1 meetings.

    · Identify, (co-)develop and roll-out local added-value customer service projects or customer support in xft agreement with the foundational objective to connect customer needs with Sobi’s brand and service offering.

    · Support medical/marketing/patient access team on the local level if necessary.

    · Work closely with xft to contribute to the brand planning process and forecasting exercises.

    · Maintain an accurate track of spending within agreed budgets.

    · Constantly improve knowledge on the therapeutic area(s) through the participation in congresses, meetings, refresher courses and self-learning.

    · Act in a compliant manner:

    o Constantly be alert for / monitor the use of drugs and adverse events reported by healthcare professionals in accordance with the current law requirements. Ensure accurate medical information towards the Health Care Practitioners according to and in compliance with the company’s strategy, with the company’s policies and with current regulations.

    · Apply and respect legislative and company requirements concerning drug scientific information, drug safety and ethical code. In case of problems, act appropriately and inform his/her supervisor

    Qualifications

    Education/Learning Experience/Work Experience/ Skills/Knowledge/Languages

    · Experienced in Belgium (south)/Luxembourg nephrology/hematology/rare disease treatment landscape/setting with at least 2-3 years, knowing the key HCPs and network

    · Experience with new products, pre-launch and launch activities, planning and strategy execution.

    · Scientific efficiency: ability to process and translate scientific information, data, publications, etc into clinical and practical advantages towards hcp’s

    · Knowledge of national healthcare systems, practices and decision making of both Belgium and Luxemburg.

    · Ability to create and network with KOLs at national level.

    · Target-oriented and result-driven: develop and execute account plan

    · Knowledge of regulatory, safety, legal, compliance and reporting requirements

    · Experience in communicating and building relations with diverse internal/external stakeholders.

    · Embrace an omnichannel and digital approaches (collecting opt-ins, working with Veeva approved emails, delivering added services with IT applications such as patient apps, Sobi PRO etc)

    · Fluency in French and English. Ability to understand and participate in social conversations in Dutch is a plus to facilitate team working.

    · Proficient user of modern IT and office software, including AI applications
