Job Description

This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing programs across the North America region, supporting the Regional Marketing Manager in delivering relevant and timely marketing and communication activities. 

The position is open to candidates based in Pasadena, TX and the Greater Houston, TX area.

•Support the development and execution of targeted, defined and measurable regional marketing plans.

•Create regional content including customer testimonials and case studies that support the regional marketing plan

•Ensure local compliance with brand guidelines; Train regions and sites to ensure appropriate brand deployment.

•Support country distributors with Channel Marketing support and resources.

•Support approved regional trade shows and other customer events ensuring alignment with Global Marketing.

•Provide market intelligence from the regional perspective, including analysis and Voice of Customer input.

•Participate in ad hoc requests for various initiatives, including new product launches, site openings and M&A etc.

•Consolidate regional feedback, assess campaign performance and demand generation, and provide regional market insights back to Global Marketing.

•Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager North America to customize, develop, and execute John Crane’s marketing strategy for the region. You will be part of the global marketing team and have a direct reporting line to the Regional Marketing Manager North America region.

•You will act as first point of contact for any marketing-related questions from North America sales team, providing marketing leadership for regional markets, including demand generation programs, new product launches and vertical marketing, to drive market share growth.

•You will be required to work across Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Vertical Marketing and Sales Enablement functions to ensure both top-down initiatives are deployed and that regional requirements resonate with global decision-makers.

•Collaboration examples may include: (a) Support the Global Marcomms team as needed on communication plans, inbound and outbound tactics, and localized content for global initiatives (b) Work with Vertical Business Directors to identify gaps in the John Crane portfolio in each regional market (c) Work with Marcomms and Product Marketing to develop required white papers, case studies and sales tools

•You will partner closely with regional Sales leadership to deploy regional marketing plans and provide market intelligence from the regional perspective back to Global Marketing. You will drive global programs into the assigned region; coordinate deployment from multiple functions within Marketing.

•You will have the opportunity for locally executing marketing programs, campaigns, and brand building (including local content development) that are part of the global or regional business strategy in line with global brand guidelines. Regional tactics such as supporting local trade shows and events, post-show lead nurturing and management coordination, creating content with appropriate approvals, developing retention/referral programs may be required, as part of that regional plan and aligned with global initiatives.

•You will oversee the education and deployment of our brand in North America and ensure compliance with global guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree ideally in Business/Marketing.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Marketing Generalist/Specialist.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing marketing plans, preferably in an industrial B2B environment (energy market), and be comfortable interfacing with internal/external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in dynamic and flexible environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with ability to plan over 3-year time span.
  • Self-starter, driven, attention to detail, resourceful, takes initiative. 
  • Must have a high degree of written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and flexible environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and lead management process is essential.
