Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HSE & Security Lead to join our team in Salisbury, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive health, safety, environmental, and security programs across our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, decisive decision-making skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and security excellence. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect our employees, assets, and operations.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE and security policies, procedures, and programs aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential workplace dangers and security vulnerabilities
  • Lead incident investigations, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations through regular audits and inspections
  • Design and deliver safety training programs and security awareness initiatives to all organizational levels
  • Manage emergency response planning, drills, and business continuity protocols
  • Monitor and analyze safety metrics, security incidents, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to integrate HSE and security best practices into daily operations
  • Maintain detailed documentation, records, and reports related to safety incidents, audits, and compliance activities
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging security threats to keep the organization informed and prepared
  • Oversee security systems, access controls, and surveillance protocols to protect organizational assets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and external safety/security consultants

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in health, safety, environmental, and/or security management roles
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and other relevant compliance frameworks
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing safety programs and security protocols
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Leadership experience managing teams and driving organizational change
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency with HSE management systems, incident tracking software, and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of emergency response planning and business continuity management
  • Understanding of security systems, access control, and surveillance technologies
  • Ability to work independently and make decisive decisions in high-pressure situations

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent HSE credential
  • Security clearance or background in security management
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience with safety audits and compliance inspections
  • Budget management and cost control experience
  • Industry-specific HSE expertise (manufacturing, construction, healthcare, etc.)
