Job Description
Would you like to directly impact production flow and develop supplier relationships in the field of subcontracted services? Join us as an Operational Procurement Specialist!
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage procurement of subcontracted services (e.g. coating, EDM, heat treatment, grinding).
- Create and maintain purchase orders through to delivery, ensuring 3-way match (PO, delivery, invoice).
- Oversee logistics and ensure timely order deliveries.
- Act as escalation point for supplier issues (collaborating with PSC and local teams).
- Monitor and improve supplier performance.
- Act as liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support planning and operations by expediting urgent orders.
- Identify cost savings, improve cash flow and negotiate with suppliers.
- Support onboarding and documentation of subcontractors.
- Contribute to procurement KPIs and cost savings targets.
Qualifications
What we expect:
- Experience in direct/technical purchasing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or process industries (Oil & Gas is a plus).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work with suppliers on improvement plans.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
