Job Description

Job Title: Quality Management Analyst 

Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office  

*May include remote opportunities in the following states: AZ, FL, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI. No relocation assistance is provided.  

Starting Salary: $45,972.49 - $50,569.74 (Salary commensurate with experience) 

Position Description: 

Are you interested in testing the big picture of Skyward software, have a strong eye for analysis, and want to improve our customers' experience using it? 

  

The Quality Assurance Department is looking for an inquisitive individual with a good basis of understanding school administrative software, one who wants to apply that knowledge to make the software better for our customers. 

  

A Quality Management Analyst (QMA) can look at the software both from a normal user perspective and in creative, non-standard ways, pushing the software to its limit. 

  

The successful candidate is one who is able to articulate usage scenarios, both typical and unusual, who looks at the software with an eye towards problems, and who can independently run a variety of testing scenarios in the system. 

  

As an individual, the QMA has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they work with development teams, product owners, and other Quality Assurance staff. 

  

The QMA has strong attention to details, accurately recording information and following directions. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

* Responsible for maintenance and execution of assigned modules' Test Case Suites for software regression testing. 

* Participates in development team backlog planning for development cycles and providing input on cross product impacts of changes. 

* Uses development plans to plan for Test Suite updating. 

* Advises Software Quality Specialists in project testing and data needs. 

* Works in consulting role with Automation Test Scripters to identify variants of test conditions, pass/fail conditions, and data needed to suitably test the defined Test Cases. 

* Oversees data needs for all Quality Assurance testing, to insure diverse data sets available for variety of data configurations. 

* Independently able to validate system wide functionality of production program set on test load server. 

* Responsible for processing customer data conversion verification. Evaluates data conversion reports and data, and takes steps to resolve issues, including acting as liaison between customer and programming. 

* Assists in product update file production, validation, and posting 

* Understands and executes database merge processes as assigned. 

* Advanced Quality Management Analysts mentor new Quality Management Analysts. 

* Immediate supervisor may assign other short term duties and responsibilities.
