Job Description

  • Regularly visit commercial vehicle manufacturers across the Marmara Region, including truck, bus, trailer, and specialty vehicle producers, and closely monitor projects within the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Achieve and maintain the annual regional sales budget by supporting existing business and developing new project opportunities, while ensuring sustainable growth in line with profitability targets.
  • Identify potential customers and drive new business development activities to increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies, and provide regular market intelligence reports to management.
  • Analyze customers' technical requirements within their manufacturing processes and recommend the most suitable Sika solutions, including bonding, sealing, damping, and other advanced transportation technologies.
  • Support new project implementation by working closely with the Technical Service team to coordinate laboratory testing, product validation, and on-site customer trials.
  • Establish early-stage relationships with customers' Engineering and R&D departments to promote the specification and adoption of Sika products in new vehicle development projects.
  • Evaluate customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs), prepare commercial proposals, and lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate order processing, delivery schedules, and payment collection activities in collaboration with internal departments such as Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, maintain accurate pipeline visibility, and ensure timely and accurate data entry into SAP and CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong technical and/or market-specific knowledge with the ability to understand customer requirements and industry trends.
  • Hands-on experience with chemical solutions, particularly adhesives, sealants, and related technologies.
  • Previous experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the transportation, automotive, or industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and drive project-based sales opportunities.

Additional Information

  • Valid Class B driving license.
  • Native-level Turkish and good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and digital business tools.
  • Experience with SAP, CRM platforms, and sales forecasting processes is an advantage.
