Job Description

Support daily operational activities to ensure efficient production planning, workflow coordination, quality compliance, accurate reporting, and continuous process improvement. The role will work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to optimize operational performance and achieve business objectives.

Operations Coordination

  • Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.
  • Monitor daily operational activities and ensure smooth execution of production plans.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Track operational performance and escalate risks or delays when necessary.

 

Process Improvement

  • Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve service levels.
  • Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to improve workflow and resource utilization.
  • Assist in implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Monitor corrective actions and improvement projects to ensure sustainability.

 

Quality & Compliance

  • Support quality checks and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure operational activities comply with safety requirements and company policies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety.

 

Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain and update operational data in SAP and other business systems.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, downtime, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and quality performance.
  • Ensure accuracy of operational documentation and records.

 

Administrative Support

  • Prepare operational documentation, meeting minutes, and action trackers.
  • Support audits, training coordination, and operational projects.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.

 

Safety Responsibilities

  • Comply with Sika Minimum EHS Requirements
  • Follow approved safe operating procedures, risk assessments, and control measures relevant to the job, where applicable.
  • Properly handle, store, label, and dispose of chemicals and wastes in accordance with established procedures, where applicable.
  • Correctly use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment at all times, where applicable.
  • Immediately report hazards, unsafe acts, near misses, incidents, spills, and any environmental impacts.
  • Participate in required EHS trainings, safety meetings, audits, and emergency drills.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work areas to prevent safety, health, fire, and environmental risks.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Chemical Engineering or in relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operation management.
  • Experience using sap, ERP systems, or similar business applications is preferred
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.
  • Good command of English
