Sustainable Procurement at Sika is looking for a working student interested in regulatory affairs and environmental compliance. You will gain industry experience through supporting topics at the intersection between sustainability and business.

Job Description

 

  • Reviewing and performing an initial screening of supplier compliance documentation related to the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
  • Classifying supplier submissions and maintaining accurate status tracking within internal compliance databases.
  • Communicating directly with international suppliers to collect, clarify, and follow up on regulatory documentation.
  • Managing and organizing regulatory records in Excel, SharePoint, and other internal systems according to defined governance standards.
  • Learning corporate compliance processes at a leading international company. 

Qualifications

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Law, Engineering, or a related field). 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Interest in sustainability, environmental regulations, and responsible sourcing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large datasets and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and utilization of AI applications.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within an international team.
  • Prior experience with compliance, sustainability, procurement, or regulatory topics is an advantage.
