Job Description
The Freight Handler is responsible for the manual handling, loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of goods within a warehouse, production facility, or logistics area. The role ensures proper storage, accurate order preparation, and safe handling of materials in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload goods from trucks or containers
Move, stack, and arrange materials in designated storage areas
Assist with order picking and preparation for shipment
Sort and organize products according to warehouse procedures
Check goods for visible damage and report discrepancies
Support inventory control activities
Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas
Qualifications
Minimum basic education
Previous experience in warehouse or production environment (an advantage)
Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
Basic understanding of warehouse procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
