Job Description
- Performing routine and complex laboratory tests on wide range of finished, semi-finished and raw material samples, according to product specifications.
- Testing and investigating product Quality related complaints, working with R&D Chemists, Sales and Customer service teams.
- Carrying out product applications in a controlled lab environment, ensuring its compliance with PDS and relevant industry standards.
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment in a safe manner (i.e. Compression/Tensile testing machines, Titrators, Pull off testers, etc.).
- Preparing / providing up to date test results and reports, as required by QC and R&D stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of all laboratory activities.
- Ensuring all testing activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner in compliance with relevant health safety and environmental requirements.
- Ensuring maintenance of housekeeping standards in QC laboratory environment.
- Handling and disposing various Hazardous materials safely and responsibly
- Carrying out on occasions other duties as directed by the National QC Lead
Qualifications
- Minimum B.Sc. in Chemistry or Engineering with at least 3 years' experience in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures in accordance with quality management systems.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Experience in managing laboratory functions and operations.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills (MS Office and ERP software).
- Ability to handle heavy materials movement in a safe manner.
