Job Description

Role Summary: As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, moving, and dispatching goods. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock handling, and keeping the warehouse organized to support smooth production and delivery processes.
 

General Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Record inventory levels accurately and update warehouse management systems.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of goods, including raw materials.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and customer service teams for seamless operations.
  • Prepare and dispatch customer orders in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy in order processing to minimize errors and returns.
  • Monitor order status and collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee loading, unloading, and internal movement of items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all fulfilled orders and update relevant systems.

Qualifications

  • BSc/HND in any relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience using ERP systems for inventory and warehouse management
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites for tracking stock levels and generating reports.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
