A Product or Category Manager is the person who identifies the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfil, articulates what success looks like for a product, and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality. Could this be you?
Exciting Challenges
- Main driver for Innovation!
- Strategic planning of the overall product range- product positioning vs internal range vs competition (pricing, performance, differentiation)
- Ensure updated market & competitor analysis
- Work closely with Sales - identifying customer needs (by applicator, by channel), competitors, sales arguments, pricing
- Work closely with R&D - develop product ideas, performance needed, cost
- Work closely with Marketing - labeling and packaging, communication, videos, marketing campaigns, social media
- Work closely with Supply-chain - make or buy, supply-chain locations, packaging
- Work closely with Procurement - new RM, packaging
- Work closely with the Technical departments - training
- Be present in the market, meeting applicators, shops, distributors, specifiers, influencers - Sika must be well known and on everyone's tongue.
Priority categories for Distribution
- Tile Setting- tile adhesives, tile grouts, WP under tiles, Floor levelling
- Waterproofing- LAM roofing, Basement WP, Pools/tanks, Rising Damp
- Repair, renovation, protection
Qualifikationen
We Need Your Skills
- Professional Skills and Experience
- University degree
- Solid market know-how of Distribution market
- Over 5 years’ experience in the fields of sales, marketing, product management or technical department
- Additional Skills
- Fluent in English
- Ability to prepare and deliver structured and comprehendible presentations, technical documents and reports
- Personal Skills
- Communicates in an open a professional way and shows the needed sustainability.
- Very self-driven, results-oriented and reliable person
- Good Team player
- Strong Influencing Skill
