Our Carrier Operations team works closely with our last-mile delivery partners. Together, we ensure a smooth parcel journey – from handover by the carrier to delivery at the recipient's door. In this role, you will take on responsibility for our partner network in Switzerland and Italy, two of our key European markets.

The essence of your role

  • You handle all last-mile operational issues together with our parcel carriers in Switzerland and Italy
  • You conduct regular carrier performance analysis and translate the results into concrete actions
  • You liaise with various internal stakeholders on topics such as customer performance, procurement, and carrier integration
  • You maintain regular contact with our last-mile carriers' operations and key account management teams
  • You make sure that our standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed, and create new ones whenever needed

Qualifications

This is what you need to succeed:

  • You speak Italian at a mother-tongue or equivalent  level, German or Spanish at a good working level (B2), and are fluent in English
  • You bring experience working with last-mile carriers and parcel operations in general – experience in first-mile operations, freight forwarding, warehouse operations, or other logistics-related fields is equally welcome
  • You have completed a degree or vocational training in business administration, logistics, or a related field
  • You are data driven and curious to learn, and confident working with the relevant analysis and reporting tools
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and bring strong assertiveness and resilience
