Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and business-focused HR Business Partner Manager based in Madrid, Rome or Milan to support our operations across the Spain and Italy region. In this individual contributor role, you will work closely with senior leaders (Senior Directors and below), providing hands-on HR support and guidance while ensuring alignment between people priorities and business objectives. Partner with teams across functions such as GTM Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Corporate Functions. You will be an integral part of our EMEA HRBP team. While focused on your primary region, you may occasionally be required to lend support to other EMEA areas based on business needs.

Business Partnering

  • Serve as the HRBP for leaders in Spain and Italy region, providing advice, coaching, and support on people-related matters.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders to align HR practices with business goals

Talent & Development

  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, and performance management processes.
  • Partner with managers and COEs to deliver learning, career development, and employee growth initiatives.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Advise on employee relations cases and provide practical guidance on local labour law matters.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and culture-building activities in the region.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Act as a change agent, helping leaders and teams navigate organizational transitions.

Data & Insights

  • Use people data and analytics to provide insights on workforce trends and recommend solutions.

Regional Expertise

  • Point of contact for local Works Council in Spain
  • Provide knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation for  Spain & Italy.  Partner with external providers or internal legal resources as needed for local compliance matters

Culture & Engagement

  • A Culture Champion, driving initiatives that foster engagement and reinforce company culture, based on feedback that we regularly collect from employees.
  • Partner with leadership to embed inclusive practices in recruitment, talent development, and engagement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HRBP or HR generalist experience, ideally within a multinational or matrixed environment.
  • Experience supporting Senior Director-level leaders and below.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor law (Italy and Spain) and HR practices.
  • Fluent in English and the local languages (both Italian and Spanish).
  • Experience working with Go-To-Market commercial sales teams is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities across regions.
  • Strong skills in coaching, employee relations, and change management.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and HR analytics tools.
