Job Description

The key responsibilities of a GLD Performance & Data Insights Lead include analyzing large datasets to inform transformation strategies, developing and tracking KPIs, and providing performance reports to senior management. They collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, work with departments to meet data needs, ensure data quality and governance, lead data-related projects, and provide training on data tools. Financial planning and analysis are also part of their role.

•Financial planning & analysis: partner with Finance BPS to drive GLD financial reporting and management processes. Work with GLD leaders to proactively look for opportunities for cost reduction.

•Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of various initiatives. Provide regular performance reports and dashboards to senior management.

•Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and techniques. Promote continuous learning and development within the team with regards to data techniques and frameworks.

•Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to align data insights with organizational goals. Contribute to the development of strategic plans based on data-driven insights.

•Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored insights. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

•Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data sources. Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures.

•Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights that inform GLD transformation strategies.  Use advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

•Project Management: Lead data-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • •Preferred bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

    •5+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.

    •Experience with data governance and data quality management.

    •Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.

    Skills:

    •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    •Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, Snowflake).

    •Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    •Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
