Job Description
This role is responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining cloud resources and environments. The ideal candidate will manage cloud infrastructure, implement security policies, and optimize system performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create and manage cloud environments.
- Handle patch management for systems and applications.
- Develop and execute backup and restore routines.
- Serve as the owner of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Perform Kubernetes tuning and optimization.
- Implement and enforce security policies.
- Adhere to established processes and procedures.
- Participate in threat modeling and mitigation strategies.
- Translate high-level business requirements into actionable technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in DevOps and cloud engineering.
- Expertise in Terraform/Ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure infrastructure.
- Experience in the lifecycle management of cloud solutions.
- Advanced understanding of Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby).
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows configurations.
- Familiarity with security best practices.
- Proficiency in Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Git.
- Ability to learn new technologies independently.
- Experience conducting technical research and presenting findings to teams.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing DevOps solutions for public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Ability to automate build, test, and deployment processes across environments.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong monitoring skills for system performance and capacity utilization.
