Job Description

We are seeking a proactive procurement professional to manage the purchasing of indirect goods and services across the business, including office supplies, consumables, tooling, hire contracts, services, and utilities. The role focuses on ensuring effective supplier management, delivering value for money, and supporting operational needs across multiple departments and sites.

You will be responsible for identifying cost-saving opportunities, supplier consolidation, and leading contract negotiations to achieve savings aligned with business objectives and market conditions. The role includes end-to-end tender management, from preparing tender documentation and analysing responses to presenting recommendations and negotiating contracts.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help align procurement activities with wider business goals, support the development of the indirect procurement strategy, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements. You will also maintain supplier performance, manage procurement systems and order processes, and provide purchasing support across departments.

Qualifications

You will need experience in procurement or purchasing, managing supplier relationships, and supporting supplier performance. You’ll contribute to contract negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and work closely with stakeholders to meet the business needs.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and tendering, with the ability to analyse data to identify improvements and savings. You should be organised, collaborative, and professional, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ethical procurement.
