Main responsibilities include:

• to have solid knowledge of railway-specific European standards, especially EN 13232 for switches and crossings

• to execute design work for rail trackwork components according to EN 13232

• to perform CAD design using Siemens NX (3D/2D)

• to create layout, assembly and detailed manufacturing drawings

• to prepare engineering BOMs

• to calculate and validate design requirements

• to technically clarify design topics and interfaces with the Project Lead

• Technical background (Mechanical / Railway Engineering)

• Experience with railway track components and EN 13232 standard

• Strong CAD skills in Siemens NX
