Job Description
The SCM Executive - Junior Level plays a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production material planning. This position involves coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure timely delivery, stock management, and the accurate processing of orders. The role also requires proficiency in managing documentation, updating systems, and assisting in daily operational activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Procurement & Order Processing
- Assist in raising Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved requirements.
- Assist in RFQ creation and suppliers negotiations under supervision of his line manager
- Follow up with suppliers on order confirmation, delivery schedules, and dispatch status to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate PO records and ensure consistent communication with suppliers for updates and queries.
Production & Material Support
- Support material planning by reviewing production schedules and MRP (Material Requirement Planning) outputs to ensure material availability.
- Track daily material shortages and immediately inform senior team members for corrective action.
- Assist in expediting critical parts to prevent line stoppages and production delays.
Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Monitor stock levels for raw materials and service parts to ensure availability without excess.
- Assist in controlling excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory to minimize stock wastage.
- Support the physical stock verification process and help conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Logistics & ASN Support
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inbound deliveries.
- Ensure Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) is sent by suppliers as required for smooth shipment tracking.
- Verify delivery challans, packing lists, and invoice details to ensure they match with shipment records.
- Track shipment status and communicate any issues or delays to internal teams for action.
Documentation & System Updates
- Regularly update transactions in ERP and Excel formats to maintain accurate records and operational efficiency.
- Maintain SCM reports such as order status, delivery tracker, and shortages list for management reference.
- Support audit documentation and ensure all SCM processes comply with internal and external compliance requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate daily with Production, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure alignment in supply chain activities.
- Escalate any supply issues or delays to senior team members promptly to avoid production disruptions.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in SCM, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE
Over All: [10] yrs. Automotive (Up Stream): [ 8 ] yrs. Middle East: [ ] yrs.
- Basic knowledge of MRP systems, ERP software, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination is a plus.
- RFQ and Negotiations skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
