Job Description
- Remove, install, and replace aircraft engines and accessories.
- Assist with engine runs and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and document work per manuals and regulations.
- Support Avionics, Structures, Composites, and other disciplines as needed.
- Assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
- Return aircraft to service after maintenance, including off-site.
- Audit your work area and truck monthly.
- Perform Delegated Inspector (DI) duties as qualified by QA.
- Follow Bombardier’s General Work Requirements and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- A&P Certificate, 3+ years of aircraft maintenance or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of Bombardier aircraft model experience.
- Located or willing to relocate to the West Coast.
- Experience with turbine engine and corporate/commercial jet maintenance preferred.
- Strong communication skills for reporting aircraft status.
- Own basic hand tools and demonstrate tool inventory control.
- Able to work overtime, unscheduled workdays, and in all weather conditions.
- Willing to travel with short notice, including assignments up to 30 days.
- Valid driver’s license, insurable status, and the ability to work independently.
- Troubleshooting skills, valid passport, and ability to travel internationally.
- Capable of obtaining SIDA badge and experienced in return to service procedures.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
