Job Description
Project Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables. Provide regular updates to project managers and senior leadership on progress, risks, and challenges.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that automotive project processes meet established quality standards. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks that could affect project timelines or quality and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and suppliers, ensuring all parties are aligned with project goals, schedules, and requirements.
Document Control: Maintain accurate and organized records of project plans, status reports, and other critical documents.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that the project complies with automotive industry regulations and standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any project-related issues that arise, escalating as necessary to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Business Administration Associates or Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years experience
- Manage project quality assurance in projects to meet defined performance indicator targets by assuring appropriate processes and project management principles are followed.
- Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
- Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
- Good communication skills
Specific software & Database knowledge requirements include:
- PC skills and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- KOLA
- GLOPPS
- Associated interface hardware and Volvo ECUs.
- Experience with the Volvo PROTUS tool and process
- Microsoft Project
