Job Description

  • Designing and executing DVPs for the propulsion system requirements testing on virtual and real facilities.
  • Critically evaluating the requirements, designing the DVP, and executing the testing.
  • Identifying the correct testing environment for each test case (i.e. MIL, SIL, HIL or vehicle).
  • Performing issues pre-analysis and possible solutions.
  • Identifying critical and corner cases maneuvers based on the requirements to draw out potential failures.
  • Guaranteeing best practices read across from the consolidated programs.
  • Contributing to maximize the usage of virtual testing environments in order to increase the cost savings.
  • Having an active engagement within the controls, calibration and quality community for the root cause analysis and for the definition of solutions for upcoming issues during the development.
  • Having technical discussions with the software makers to report software open points assigning the proper severity and a temporary mitigation.
  • Doing these activities, you will build a Deep knowledge of our innovative propulsion system architectures.

Qualifications

  • Electronic or automotive or computer engineering degree
  • Good know-how of Automotive Engines fundamentals
  • Good know-how of hybrid/fully electric architectures
  • B - driving license
  • Know how of ISO/SAE diagnosis standard norms
  • Know-how of ISO/SAE standard norms for CAN/LIN networks
  • Know-how of ETAS INCA tool
  • Know-how of CANALYZER tool (CAPL)
  • Know-how of object-oriented programming language (i.e. Python)
  • Soft skills
  • Combination of business focus, analytical and problem-solving attitude in order to quickly support solutions definition within a specific vehicle application.
  • Excellent written and communication skills: ability to communicate to technical and non-technical project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within a team and with a proactive attitude
  • Critical approach to improve the process towards lesson learning
  • High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
