Job Description
As a high-impact member of our sales team, you will accelerate organic growth by winning new customers and positioning our protective services as the solution to each client’s specific risks, priorities and business needs. You will proactively build and convert a strong services pipeline—identifying opportunities, qualifying decision-makers, delivering compelling value-led proposals and confidently closing profitable, sustainable business.
You will use approved AI tools, CRM data and market intelligence responsibly to sharpen prospecting, personalise client engagement, identify next-best opportunities and improve the speed and quality of sales execution. Central to the role is the ability to articulate a clear client value proposition that connects our people, technology and intelligence capabilities to measurable outcomes such as stronger protection, greater resilience, operational efficiency and business continuity—demonstrating why clients should choose Securitas on value rather than price alone. With a relentless focus on the client, you will build trusted relationships from first contact through implementation, ensure a seamless customer experience and unlock further value through cross-selling and up-selling.
We are looking for an ambitious, resilient and commercially driven Inside Sales Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, target-led environment and is motivated to outperform, create lasting client partnerships and expand our presence across the Irish services market.
The earning potential is exceptionally strong, with the opportunity to achieve up to 75% of base salary in additional compensation. This creates a highly attractive overall package and provides significant upside for someone who is ambitious and commercially driven.
As rewards are directly linked to new sales performance, there is a clear correlation between individual success and earnings. The more they grow the business, win new customers, and deliver against sales targets, the greater the financial reward becomes. This structure is designed to recognise and incentivise strong performance, ensuring that those who consistently deliver results are appropriately rewarded.
When considering both base salary and the variable earning opportunity, the total potential package is highly competitive. In practical terms, this means earnings can reach approximately €140k, with the potential for even greater rewards for exceptional performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition and Market Development: Build and execute a disciplined new-business strategy aligned with Irish and European priorities. Identify high-potential sectors and accounts, map decision-makers and influencers, create tailored pursuit plans and maintain a consistent cadence of proactive outreach. Convert market insight into a healthy, qualified pipeline that delivers profitable organic growth across protective services.
- Demand and Lead Generation: Partner with marketing and operational teams to design targeted digital campaigns, sector-specific messaging and conversion journeys. Generate opportunities through phone, email, social selling, referrals, networking and reactivation of historic leads. Use approved AI tools, CRM data and market intelligence responsibly to prioritise prospects, personalise engagement and increase the volume and quality of qualified meetings.
- Consultative Discovery and Qualification: Qualify opportunities against client need, decision process, urgency, commercial potential and strategic fit. Build rapport with stakeholders, ask probing questions and use remote demonstrations, video content, site information and structured risk assessments to uncover the client’s operational challenges, risk exposure and desired outcomes. Address objections credibly, agree clear next steps and disqualify weak opportunities early to protect selling capacity.
- Client Value Proposition and Solution Development: Translate client risks and business priorities into a clear, differentiated value proposition that connects Securitas people, technology, monitoring, data and intelligence capabilities to measurable outcomes. Develop tailored, easy-to-buy protective service solutions that demonstrate stronger protection, resilience, efficiency and business continuity, supported by a credible business case, transparent pricing, implementation approach and evidence of value. Compete on outcomes and total value rather than price alone.
- Proposal, Negotiation and Closing: Own opportunities from proposal through contract signature. Produce compelling, accurate and commercially sound proposals with clear client outcomes, options, assumptions and next steps. Coordinate internal approvals, negotiate confidently, overcome final objections and close profitable, sustainable business within agreed pricing, margin, compliance and contractual guardrails. Maintain complete, current CRM records, including value, probability, stage, activity, decision date, risks and forecast.
- Implementation, Client Success and Growth: Lead a structured handover to operations and delivery teams, ensuring that scope, commitments, risks, commercials and success measures are fully understood. Remain actively involved through mobilisation and implementation, resolve issues quickly and confirm that the agreed value proposition is being delivered. Conduct post-implementation reviews, monitor satisfaction and outcomes, strengthen the relationship and identify cross-sell, up-sell, renewal and referral opportunities that increase retention, share of wallet and lifetime client value.
Qualifications
- Security and Services Sector Experience: Proven sales experience within the security arena and wider services industry, with a strong understanding of protective services, integrated solutions, client risk, service delivery and recurring contract models.
- Proven B2B Sales Performance: Demonstrable record of meeting or exceeding new-business targets across the full B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, consultative discovery, value-led solution development, proposal management, negotiation and closing profitable, sustainable contracts.
- AI, Digital and CRM Capability: A proven track record of using approved AI-enabled sales tools, CRM platforms and digital channels responsibly to research prospects, prioritise leads, personalise outreach, improve follow-up, maintain strong pipeline hygiene and strengthen forecasting. Must apply sound commercial judgement and comply with data protection, security and internal governance requirements.
- Marketing and Lead-Generation Skills: Practical experience working with marketing colleagues to develop targeted campaigns, sector messaging, social selling, digital content and conversion activity. Able to turn market insight and client needs into compelling communications that generate qualified opportunities and support the client value proposition.
- Client Value and Commercial Acumen: Strong business acumen, commercial awareness and negotiation capability, with the ability to articulate a clear value proposition, link protective services to measurable client outcomes and sell on value, quality, resilience and total cost of ownership rather than price alone.
- Relationship Building and Networking: Highly capable of creating and sustaining trusted relationships with prospects, clients, industry contacts and internal stakeholders. Must be confident building networks, accessing senior decision-makers, generating referrals and representing the organisation professionally across business forums, events and digital channels.
- One-Team Collaboration: A strong team player who works closely with the entire organisation, including sales, marketing, operations, technology, finance, legal and service-delivery colleagues. Must share information openly, clarify ownership, support joint client pursuits and remain engaged from opportunity creation through mobilisation and client success.
- Drive, Resilience and Ownership: Highly motivated, self-starting and target-driven, with the resilience and personal accountability to create opportunities from a standing start, maintain momentum through complex sales cycles and deliver at pace in a fast-moving environment. Must demonstrate urgency, disciplined follow-through and a genuine hunger to win.
