About this role
Securitas Ireland is seeking an experienced Protective Services Development Manager to support the delivery of high-quality security services across a portfolio of strategic client account nationwide.

The primary goal of this role is to drive profitable growth, developing new business and enriching the existing portfolio with Active Portfolio Management supporting the company developing and executing innovative security solutions.
Having built a strong relationship and a deep understanding of the assignment / client, the Protective Services Development Manager will constantly evaluate the service provision (always adopting a risk-based approach) and where practical, propose an alternative service provision that leverages the wide range of services Securitas provides to achieve maximum efficiency, profitability and ultimately, customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Client
Success in this role will result in:
- Build strong and positive working relationships with The Branch operations Manager and work closely with the commercial team to develop strategies for business growth in their respective areas.
- Work closely with the operating team to develop client relationships and understand the needs of all clients within their portfolio.
- Attention to detail is necessary to identify potential risks.
- Highlight any significant issues to the internal area or branch teams, make recommendations, and work in collaboration to find an appropriate solution.
- Achieving continued margin accretion in line with the business strategy, by selling a varied mix of protective services and high margin business lines.
- Year on year profitable growth through increased sales of all new business and the upsell, cross-sell and transformation of current business into intelligent solutions.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill solution gaps to meet local market needs. Ensure product and standardisation compliance across the markets.
- Maintain knowledge about general market trends and development in the local market.
- Inform local customers of innovative service improvement ideas through visits, seminars and customer listening groups.
- Incorporating joint responsibility with Branch Operations Manager in client KPI/SLA meetings is essential for ensuring alignment in terms of progress, client expectations and performance.
New Business
- Gain a full understanding of the client’s business objectives, culture and decision-making process, identify key stakeholders and decision makers, whilst maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the client’s purchasing strategy and the competitive market environment.
- Work in partnership with the client to deliver an outstanding service to retain and grow the business by proactively managing the relationship.
- Negotiate regular price reviews across the portfolio of accounts to deliver on business objectives.
- Provision of local client intelligence leading to actionable commercial insights (e.g., lead generation, up-sales & transformation).
- Well-developed and executed local commercial plans ensuring expansion of current Commercial Action Plan, portfolios and conversion of new prospective customers to Securitas solutions.
- Successful execution of commercial terms negotiations and price increase campaigns
- Identify new business opportunities within the designated area that align with Securitas key market segments.
- Monitor competitors to understand their approaches and ensure Securitas can successfully bid against them.
- Support and generate all transformation/pipeline opportunities using Securitas CEP system
- Building Relationships: The PSDM will work closely with the commercial team to develop strategies for business growth in their respective areas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to develop client relationships and understand the needs of all clients within their portfolio.
- Attention to detail is necessary to identify potential risks.
- Designs and implements a strategic sales plan that expands Securitas client base.

Experience and Skillset
The Protective Services Development Manager has the following experience and traits:
