We are seeking a highly professional Corporate Security Officer to join our team supporting a prestigious client in a critical corporate environment. Key Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
Please note: SC clearance requires applicants to have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.-Security Check (SC) Clearance* - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and proactive security presence across the site
- Control access and egress, ensuring all personnel and visitors follow security protocols
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols
- Monitor CCTV and security systems in line with company procedures
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies professionally and efficiently
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident records
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors
- Support the client’s security culture and uphold site integrity at all times

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
Purpose
To provide a professional security service at the designated site in accordance with Assignment Instructions and customer requirements, ensuring the safety and protection of the customer’s employees, property, and assets.
The role also aims to deliver the highest standards of customer service while consistently demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
(Note: Security Officers must hold a valid SIA licence before commencing operational duties.)
Responsibilities
Protection of Property and Premises
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site, monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems as required.
- Carry out internal and external security patrols in line with Assignment Instructions.
- Manage traffic control and enforce parking restrictions when necessary.
- Conduct routine checks of security equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Control keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as specified in the Assignment Instructions.
- Ensure all customer- and Securitas‑provided equipment is used and managed in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and records in line with Assignment Instructions.
- Issue visitor and contractor passes in accordance with site procedures.
- Handle lost property in line with Assignment Instructions and company policy.
Health and Safety
- Provide assistance, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the site remains secure.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times, reporting and recording any faults, hazards, or unsafe working practices to the supervisor or manager.
- Report and document all accidents in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
- Keep all walkways and emergency escape routes clear at all times.
- Record any use of First Aid equipment and report shortages or deficiencies in First Aid boxes.
- Notify the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) in the event of an emergency and follow all instructions provided.
- Investigate and record the cause of all fire alarm activations.
