Join Securitas as an Events Security Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of spectators while delivering exceptional customer service. In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, handling any breaches of event regulations, and managing the safe and professional removal or refusal of entry when necessary. Your presence will help create a positive experience for everyone attending🛡️
As an Events Security Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported. You will arrive at the venue at the designated times set by the Securitas Management Team, attend pre‑event briefings, remain on site until formally stood down, and carry out both pre‑event and post‑event safety checks. Throughout the event, you must ensure the ongoing safety and comfort of all spectators within your assigned area.
To be considered for this role, you must be fully available in Liverpool between 24th September 2026 and 30th September 2026, as this is a key deployment period for our Events Security team.

Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Assist in preventing overcrowding by adhering to crown limits in various parts of the venue
- Control and direct spectators entering and leaving the venue
- Identify and investigate any incidents among spectators and report findings to a supervisor, completing incident reports as necessary
- Report any damage or defects that could pose a threat to spectator safety
- Constantly monitor your area for signs of distress or overcrowding and take appropriate action
- Attend pre-briefings to understand necessary information
- Ensure the safety and comfort of spectators within your designated area at all times

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A valid Door Supervisor licence
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
- Must be fully available in Liverpool between 24th September 2026 and 30th September 2026
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform the duties of an Event Security Officer
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
