We're looking for an exceptional Commercial Account Manager (internally known as - Protective Services Development Manager: a natural relationship and business developer with the edge of robust account management and pipeline growth.
If you can build and maintain a robust new‑business pipeline, grow established accounts, and can prove a track record of delivering area growth, then we want to speak to you.
This is a commercially critical role covering . You will be responsible for generating new business, developing strategic relationships, and driving profitable growth across an entire geographic portfolio.
Whether you’re from security, FM, tech, logistics or another B2B space—if you can sell, grow, and deliver, we’re interested if you can demonstrate an excellent history of meeting and exceeding account and area growth.
Job Description
- Drive Commercial Growth: Lead the development of new business opportunities and actively manage existing client portfolios to deliver year-on-year profitable growth.
- Account Management: Build deep relationships with clients, understand their business objectives, and deliver tailored security solutions that evolve with their needs.
- P&L Ownership: Share responsibility for branch financial performance, including revenue, margin, and profitability targets. Innovate and Transform: Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and transform traditional services into intelligent, integrated solutions.
- Client Engagement: Conduct regular client reviews, KPI/SLA meetings, and strategic planning sessions to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors, gather local market insights, and use data to inform commercial strategies and service improvements.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with operations and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client retention.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Design and implement local commercial plans, lead price negotiations, and manage transformation pipelines.
- Risk-Based Evaluation: Continuously assess service provision and propose alternative models to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Customer Experience Excellence: Champion client-centricity by identifying solution gaps and driving innovation to meet evolving market needs.

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Proven track record in new business development with measurable results
- Strong account management experience with evidence of account growth
- Experience managing pricing, costings, and margins
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels
- Commercially intelligent, strategic thinker with a problem‑solver mindset
- Knowledge of security or technical products (or the ability to learn quickly)
- A true team player who thrives in a high‑performance culture
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial or business development environment
