Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Acting as Incident Controller during emergencies, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
  • Leading the Security Response Team during security breaches, fire alarms, medical incidents, and confined space emergencies.
  • Maintaining operational readiness of vehicles, equipment, and rescue apparatus.
  • Conducting on‑shift briefings, welfare checks, and training updates.
  • Overseeing patrols, access control, control room activities, CCTV monitoring, and incident logging.
  • Ensuring compliance with site regulations, Securitas standards, and health & safety procedures.
  • Completing thorough incident reports, debriefs, investigations, and handovers.
  • Supporting audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fostering a positive team culture built on Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year verifiable history.
  • A valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervisor, or equivalent).
  • Eligibility for SC (Security Clearance) vetting.
  • Ability to command incidents and direct teams confidently in dynamic, high‑pressure situations.
  • Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication, decision‑making, and professional report‑writing skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems used for incident recording, reporting, and security monitoring.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as part of a rotational shift pattern.
  • Ideally, a recognised security or leadership qualification (e.g., First Aid, Trauma Response, ILM, IOSH).
