Job Description
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a motivated, team oriented individual who has a strong attention to detail to join our team as The Outbound Warehouse Supervisor.
This role supervises the daily activities of their team and various objectives of warehouse during their shift. This position is responsible for all outbound functions of the warehouse on their ship including picking, packing, and shipping orders. This position will also assist with inventory control, receiving, and stocking and act as coverage when other shift supervisors are off work. This position is responsible for employee relations, training, and development for their direct reports. The Outbound Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for proper daily communication between the various shift supervisors and managers to ensure continuity between shifts.
Duties will include:
- Lead the warehouse team on their shift with excellent communication and clear direction including daily warehouse meetings, goal setting and process improvement
- Participate in the hiring, training and development of warehouse staff, as well as performance conversations and coaching
- Effectively execute daily hand-off plan with team members from defined shift through clear email communication and proper workplace organization
- Ensure the building is properly secured and closed at the end of each working day
- Work with the other Shift Supervisor and Warehouse Manager to improve process, ensure orders are error free, meet timelines and operation objectives.
- Ensure that all the employees are on task and work towards achieving the daily objectives
- Work in tandem with various departments and maintain flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals.
- Assist supervision of the receiving of containers and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Develop, document, and enforce all warehouse safety measures and protocols
Outbound Order Management
- Properly prioritize workload and employee dispatch to ensure all shipping deadlines are met
- Ensure orders are packed appropriately and meet customer expectations
- Identify and resolve mis-picks and mis-shipment claims
- Maintain proper organization of all pending outbound shipments with labeling, staging, and palletization
- Work with warehouse management to improve processes and efficiencies in the outbound operation
- Assist with EDI customer management, including helping to route shipments, create advanced ship notices, and reference various vendor guides to ensure compliance.
- Work with sales and customer service to troubleshoot issues and fulfill special request shipments
Inventory and Receiving
- Assist with unloading and receipt of inbound containers
- Assist with cycle counting, inventory replenishment, and inventory stocking operations
Safety
- Train employees on safety protocols and enforce safety guidelines
- Develop, document, and enforce all warehouse safety measures and protocols
Qualifications
- 3 years or more in a warehouse environment with elevated or lead responsibilities
- 1+ year working directly with inventory, stocking and an inventory management system
- Ability to perform tasks under pressure with a positive attitude in a deadline driven environment
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
- High attention to detail with the willingness to learn, adapt and improve processes & procedures
- Ability to instruct and lead others to complete the assigned tasks
- Ability to be trained and certified on forklift operations
- Ability to manage time effectively, as they may need to handle multiple functions to consistently meet deadlines
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn ERP and WMS systems
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time
- High School diploma required

This is a full-time warehouse-based position; located in Broomfield, Colorado. This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement match, EAPs, paid time off, community service leave, paid holidays, wellness stipend, gear allowance, and some other great perks. This position works Monday through Friday 6:00AM - 2:45PM. The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $75,000 with the starting salary around the lower end of this range.
