Our Transformation practice brings together the skills and capabilities to support clients with complex reform, capability uplift and delivery agendas across government, public sector and national security contexts. We look for passionate individuals with diverse backgrounds who can bring new perspectives to support our clients to address critical challenges across:

Our team is growing across Australia, and we are looking for experienced consultants from Senior Associate to Senior Manager level who are motivated by public purpose work, complex transformation and the opportunity to contribute to nationally significant programs. We currently have opportunities in Canberra 

Job Description

The Role 

We are seeking expressions of interest from Senior Associates, Managers and Senior Managers with Defence consulting experience to join our team who can: 

  • Collaborate with high-performing teams to design and develop high-quality client deliverables that support practical, measurable outcomes in complex government environments. 
  • Apply critical thinking to understand client challenges, navigate ambiguity and contribute clear, evidence-based insights that support decision-making. 
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, including client interviews and workshops, document reviews, stakeholder engagement and the development of findings and recommendations. 
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams across complex programs of work. 
  • Invest in your own development by building and expanding your skills and capabilities. 

About You 

You’re a values-driven team player who is curious and collaborative in nature. You have a growth mindset and are interested in asking questions that challenge thinking, generate new ideas and improve outcomes. You are someone who does what you say you will do, does the right thing when no-one is looking, and speaks up when something does not feel right. 

You may have experience working with government clients, large-scale transformation programs, secure or regulated environments, or complex stakeholder landscapes. You understand the importance of trust, discretion, delivery discipline and practical outcomes when working on programs that matter. 

Technically, you will bring to the position demonstrated experience in working on transformation programs, delivering one or more of the following services: 

  • Digital advisory, including strategy, architecture and technology-enabled transformation. 
  • Salesforce advisory and implementation. 
  • Operational excellence, including business analysis, process modelling, operating model, service design and experience. 
  • Strategic planning, investment cases and business case development. 
  • Capability uplift, workforce transformation, change readiness, planning and adoption. 
  • Project, program and portfolio management, PMO services and complex delivery assurance. 
  • Data, AI and analytics to support better decisions, improved services and operational outcomes. 
  • Previous consulting experience is desirable but not required; however, you will demonstrate general consulting skills, including: Analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency or experience in undertaking quantitative and/or qualitative analytics. 
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality and impactful deliverables and outcomes in agreed timeframes. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Organised, self-motivated and resilient in a fast-moving environment with a proven ability to work as part of a team. 
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying informed and abreast of key trends, risks, developments and innovations that may impact our clients, our services or our ways of working. 

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, business, commerce, engineering, law or equivalent relevant industry experience are required.
