As a Prison Officer at HMP Birmingham, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within the prison, while positively influencing the lives of inmates. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain security within the prison.
• Build constructive relationships with prisoners to support their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe, secure, and positive environment.
• Perform peacekeeping, counseling, and other duties as needed.
• Work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

• No formal qualifications required; personal qualities are more important.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Salary: £30,902 - £34,800, depending on weekly hours worked.
• Flexible working hours, including full-time, part-time, and job share options.
